When you refer someone to us, and they sign a solar contract with Sugar Hollow Solar, we’ll pay you $250 for each referral you make!
Plus—for each referral who goes solar, we’ll also donate $50 to a nonprofit working locally on environmental and/or justice issues. Our current nonprofit partner is MountainTrue until September 30th, 2024.

MountainTrue is a Nonprofit who champions resilient forests, clean waters, and healthy communities in the Southern Blue Ridge. They envisions thriving communities in our mountain region that are connected to and help sustain both each other and our natural environment. To achieve this, they foster and empower residents throughout the region to engage in community planning, policy and project advocacy, and on-the-ground projects. We are honored to support them as our referral donation partner!
Terms & Conditions
You don’t even have to be a past client! We welcome anyone who knows us and wants to send a friend our way to do so.
There are two ways to make a referral - fill out this form, or your friend can call our main line (828) 776-9161 to request a quote and say you sent them.
To count, the referral must be identified before the new customer has received a project proposal from us. We apologize, but it’s difficult to honor later.
Payment to you and the donation to our non-profit partner will be made after the installation of the new solar or battery backup system. (Please note that we’re only donating to our nonprofit partner for solar installations.)
We can offer only one referral reward per installation, and cannot honor a referral for a repeat customer. (Repeat customers have their own perks!)
