So you’ve traded a conventional car for an EV.

You’re likely saving money, sidestepping fickle gas prices, experiencing better vehicle handling and responsiveness with lower maintenance costs, and most exciting of all—emitting less global warming pollution.
But are you getting the most out of your investment?
With a proper charging cord, you can plug straight into your wall outlet. But it’s a little like pouring molasses through a tiny funnel. A Tesla, for example, charges at a rate of two to four miles of range per hour in your average 110 volt outlet.
And you can always fuel up on the road for a faster charge: the PlugShare app shows you local charging spots. (Of course, that most likely requires getting dressed and going out in public.)
