Inbound Sales Representative

Rate of pay: $21-$24/HR

Based out of Asheville, NC, Sugar Hollow Solar offers energy solutions for homes, farms, small businesses and other commercial properties by designing and installing solar electric systems (rooftop or ground-mounted), battery backup systems and EV charger stations, as well as, systems maintenance.

Sugar Hollow Solar is hiring a brand new Inbound Sales Representative! The role of the Inbound Sales Representative plays a key part in creating sales continuity at Sugar Hollow Solar by qualifying leads, routing the leads to the appropriate SHS sales channel and providing exceptional customer service throughout this part of the sales process. The primary responsibilities of the position include acting as the first point of contact for potential SHS customers through a variety of communication channels, gathering necessary information for those leads and efficiently, accurately and effectively transferring those leads to the correct sales channel. Other responsibilities include handling non-sales calls and routing them to the appropriate departments, supporting marketing efforts to build brand awareness and loyalty and completing job reporting on-schedule and accurately.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Acts as the first point of contact for SHS customer interactions through a variety of communication channels and routes customers to the appropriate channels

  • Begins to build the customer relationship by focusing on building trust with customers through active listening and providing knowledgeable responses

  • Uses strategic questions to gather essential information to guide the sales process to follow

  • Follows up and follows through with customers in a timely manner through well-timed responses, effective scheduling and calendar management and automated response monitoring

  • Accurately tracks and reports on incoming leads, scheduled appointments and other job-related key performance indicators

  • Provides a welcoming customer-centric attitude in guiding non-sales calls to the appropriate department and assists all departments in tracking, documenting and resolving any customer issues

  • Assists marketing with swag inventory, event support and special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of six months-1 year of experience in a sales/marketing-oriented or administrative role preferred

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Some college preferred

  • Experience utilizing a CRM preferred
