Rally to End Fossil Fuels

  • the corner of Biltmore and Patton Avenues, downtown Asheville Asheville, 28806 United States (map)

UN Secretary-General António Guterres recently called for a meeting of nations at the UN in New York in mid-September to put an end to fossil fuels. In his address, he said: "We must end the merciless, relentless, senseless war on nature." On September 17 tens of thousands of people are gathering in NYC to support Guterres' call.

Since many of us in Asheville cannot travel to New York at that time, we are rallying in Pack Square to lend our hearts and voices to the Secretary's efforts.

LOCATION: Pack Square Asheville at Asheville’s free speech zone, the corner of Biltmore and Patton Avenues, downtown Asheville
