One Month After Helene Update

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We can’t thank you enough. Your support in the first 48 hours of our GoFundMe campaign was nothing short of inspiring. It’s uplifting to know that you’re standing with us as we rebuild and re-stock our new warehouse after the unexpected flood damage to our old location.

Your generosity is a lifeline, helping us gather the tools, materials, and equipment we need to keep doing what we do best—bringing solar and battery backup solutions to our community at a time when they’re needed most.

The transition to our new space is in full swing, and we thought you might enjoy a few snapshots of our team in action: one of our crew members installing solar panels, our Director of Operations framing out office spaces, and Doug’s own son, Lyle, posing in from one one of our vans and taking a joyride in our custom 12-volt car in our new parking lot—adding a little brightness to our days.

One bit of luck in all of this was Doug’s decision to move our vans from the old warehouse parking lot just before the flood. Thanks to him, we’ve had the vehicles we need to get back in the field, ready to install and service systems without even further delay.

From all of us here at Sugar Hollow, thank you again for donating, sharing, and connecting with our story and mission. Your help means the world to us, and we’re incredibly grateful to have you on this journey with us.

With heartfelt gratitude and sunshine,

Doug and the Sugar Hollow Team
